It's the most comprehensive health check outside of Harley Street, and every result is logged and reviewed with your own NuMi coach, so you leave having unlocked the data to support you achieve your health and fitness goals.

DEXA Scan
We conduct a full body composition scan using our Hologic Discovery DEXA scanner to give a precise breakdown of what your body’s really made of. Muscle mass, fat, overall body bone density; all broken down regionally.

VO₂ Max is the gold standard measure of aerobic fitness: the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use at max effort. It's one of the strongest predictors of long-term health and a powerful benchmark for performance.

Zone Mapping
Zone mapping turns your test data into a precise set of training zones, built around your own physiology rather than a generic formula. We identify the exact heart rate and pace for each zone, from easy aerobic work (Z1) to full effort (Z5).

FatMax
FatMax pinpoints the exercise intensity at which your body burns fat most efficiently. For anyone working on body composition, endurance or training smarter, it's the zone where you get the most metabolic benefit for the least effort.

Metabolic Testing
Our Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Test uses a CardioCoach™ to measure your oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production while you rest, calculating your metabolic rate in kcal per day.

Physical Measurements
We measure your weight, height and waist circumference to set the baseline before carrying out the other testing. These numbers inform calibration and help us access the numbers that matter most!

Grip Strength
A small test with a big insight! A marker of overall body strength, muscle function and can highlight asymmetry. Grip strength is also a market for long-term health.

Heart Rhythm (ECG)
Using our mini ECG we analyse your heart rate and rhythm over a 30 second period. The device detects Atrial Fibrillation and Normal heart rhythm recording leads I, II, III, aVL, aVR, and aVF.

Blood Pressure
Measured to spot risks and guide changes that protect your heart and help keep your training and health on track; no matter what your goals.

Lung Performance
We use a spirometer to measure your lung capacity and respiratory strength, establishing a resting baseline we can track over time. This can monitor training effectiveness, depending on you goals, or help to identify underlying issues.

HbA1c Blood Test
Measures average blood sugar over 2–3 months and can act as an early indicator of pre-diabetes/diabetes risk.

We don’t just look at one headline number. By measuring HDL, LDL and triglycerides, we get a clearer picture of cardiovascular risk and opportunities to fuel better.
Can I Just have the tests I want?
Yes. You. Can. We offer DEXA body composition, bone density, VO2 Max, FatMax, zone mapping, RMR and bloods as standalone bookable services. We understand that each client has different needs, so please never feel uncomfortable if you would like to opt out of any testing during your NuMi 360º. Alternatively book a discovery call with Maria to build a bespoke set of testing around your needs.
Preparing for your
NuMi 360º »
There's no need to change your routine, training or diet in the weeks leading up to your visit, so carry on exactly as normal up until the day before. You must be fasted for a minimum of 4 hours, with no strenuous exercise in the 24 hours prior. Fasted means no food and no caffeine, so no tea or coffee, but keep drinking water and turn up well hydrated.
Several of the measurements, including your blood markers and resting metabolism, are far more accurate on an empty stomach, so it's well worth the slightly hungry start.
Do I need to
bring anything?
Please ensure you have trainers you are comfortable running in for the parts of the NuMi 360º on the treadmill (VO2, FatMax and Zone Mapping), or if you elect to use the wattbike, trainers you’re comfortable cycling in. For the DEXA scan to run smoothly, please remove all piercings and wear clothes without metal, including underwired bras, trousers with zips or studs.
