Samples are analysed by our partners at INUVI, and your results come back within a week. Every marker is set against its laboratory reference range and clearly flagged, so you can see exactly where you sit and what, if anything, is worth looking at more closely.

Results come back within a week, set against laboratory reference ranges and grouped by area so it reads as a picture rather than a list of numbers.

Three key markers – full cholesterol, HbA1c and vitamin D – tested on site with your results in front of you before you leave. No lab, no waiting, no second appointment. It's a quick read on cardiovascular and metabolic health, and a straightforward way to check in a few months after you've changed something, when what you really want to know is whether it worked. Included in the NuMi 360º and available as a standalone service.

The full panel is £225, with your venous draw included here at NuMi HQ. Prep is the same as our other testing, so if you're already booked in for a DEXA scan, RMR or VO₂ Max, we can take your bloods in the same visit. 1. Before Your Test
In the days before your appointment you'll be prompted to complete a couple of simple forms online. Do tell us about any medications, supplements, HRT or contraception on these, as they can affect how your results read.
On the day, you must be fasted for at least 4 hours before your appointment. Fasted means no food and no caffeine, so no tea or coffee, but keep drinking water and turn up well hydrated. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand, skip strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours, and leave any non-essential supplements until after your appointment. Keep taking prescribed medication unless your doctor has told you otherwise, and eat and train as you normally would in the days before. If you're acutely unwell, get in touch, as it may be better to postpone.

2. Having the Test
When you arrive, we'll run through your form and make sure we've got all the information we need.
The sample itself takes a couple of minutes. If you're nervous about needles, tell us when you book – you won't be the first and it makes no difference to us how long we take over it. We want you to feel safe and comfortable.

3. Your Results
Your sample goes off to INUVI for analysis and your results are back with you within a week, usually sooner. You'll receive a clear summary showing every marker against its laboratory reference range, grouped by area so it reads as a picture rather than a list of numbers.
Anything that needs a doctor's attention is flagged clearly, and we'll help you with the onward route to one of our local partner GPs, including specialists focussing on female health and wellness.

Every marker is set against its laboratory reference range and anything outside it is clearly identified. Where a result warrants medical review, we'll tell you plainly and help you with the onward route.

For most people, six to twelve months, or sooner if you've changed something specific and want to see whether it worked. We'll suggest a timeframe with your results. Try to keep your prep and appointment time consistent between tests, as it makes the comparison far more useful.

Yes, and it's the sensible way to do it. Fasting and exercise guidance is the same across our testing, so bloods can be added to a DEXA, RMR or VO₂ Max appointment.
