What to Expect »

1. Before you arrive

In the days before your appointment you'll be prompted to complete a couple of simple forms online via Practice Better, our patient system.
On the day, please remove all piercings and wear clothes without metal, including underwired bras, trousers with zips or studs.
2. Having the Test

When you arrive, we'll run through your form and make sure we've got all the information we need. You'll then be asked to get on to the scanning bed (Holly) where your measurer will position you for the scan.
Once you're in place, the test takes 7 minutes and all you need to do is lay completely still. We’ll even play your preferred playlist. Bliss!
3. Your Results

Your measurer will immediately get to work to provide you with preliminary results to take away with you.
These results will then be checked externally and uploaded to your Practice Better account. This step ensures two practitioners have had sight of your results. We would then recommend sharing this data with whoever is supporting your GLP-1 journey.
